| Unveiled in December 2007, this gorgeous Chaoyang hotel offers english colonial style and top-notch service for an utterly civilized, pampering stay. No detail has been overlooked in the elegant rooms, which feature hardwood floors, marble-clad baths (the thoughtfully placed flat-screen TV near the bathtub means you won't miss a minute of Cnn updates), and Bulgari bath products. even the wiring is smart: the heating and cooling system "senses" when a guest is present and adjusts the temperature accordingly, and the shades and draperies operate from a bedside panel. A wedding chapel was included, the luxe Shin Kong Place shopping center is adjacent to the hotel, and the new JW Marriott is connected by an underground passageway. |
